Hello.

This PTTW has been controversial since its inception. An obscene amount of water is taken for frivolous, impulsive, and rapacious reasons. The MECP should be encouraging the consumption of municipally-processed water. The science has been accumulating for years - bottled water is a disaster for the environment and on ecosystems throughout the world. Given that bottled water does not have the same stringent regulations as regulated water systems in Ontario, the practice should be stopped immediately. When this facilitate lost its ability to bottle at source through a rigorous OMB hearing years ago, most people in Oro-Medonte were horrified by the utter waste of water being shipped to other locations for bottling - just turn on the tap and drink perfectly fine potable water. Water resources should be protected, especially close to the Oro-Moraine. Please do not allow this PTTW to move forward. Water should not be commodified and by allowing this PTTW to be granted by the MECP, the government of Ontario is supporting the commodification of a sacrosanct resource that we all have a right to. Say "NO" to this PTTW!
