This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No.1070-9NVRDY for CpK Interior Products Inc., a manufacturer of automotive interior plastic instrument panels and injection moulded components, located in the Municipality of Port Hope, Ontario.

The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include:

• paint spray booths,
• ventilation exhausts,
• storage silos,
• natural gas fired boilers,
• flame treaters,
• plastic welders,
• a laboratory fume hood, and
• cooling towers

Emissions to the air from this facility include:

• nitrogen oxides,
• benzene,
• polyether resin,
• particulate matter, and
• methane diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI)

The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise). The limited operational flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
