This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) to be issued to Pondview Estate Winery Ltd. for a winery located at 925 Line 2 Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario for works that include one year-round subsurface sewage disposal works rated for 10,465 litres per day, to treat sanitary sewage and winery process washwater and the proposed works include septic tanks, pump tanks, a constructed wetland, and an existing subsurface disposal bed.
The proposed works are required as the winery has plans to increase their wine production and construct a new building.
