Proposal details
This proposal is for an amendment to the Environmental Compliance Approval (Air) No. 5703-9X4PLY, for A&A Environmental Consultants Inc., an environmental consulting company providing mobile in-situ remediation services to facilitate the treatment of organic and inorganic contaminants in soil and groundwater.
Contaminated media can be treated with one or a combination of technologies including chemical oxidation, chemical reduction, or enhanced bio-remediation. The process may also include the use of inert tracers that would be injected into the subsurface during pilot scale assessments in order to validate the distribution of treatment materials prior to or during their use on site. This application is for the approval of injecting permeable reactive barriers on-site to prevent migration of plume and mobile contaminants. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- iron,
- sodium lactate,
- calcium hydroxide,
- ferric sulfate, and
- sulfuric acid.
